two queries
I trust that certain fen are enjoying Canada and the Headstones concert and will report back on return.
My first query is related to Chinese food in canon, especially re:Fraser. Namely, with two eaters of good appetite, what two dishes would definitely be in the white boxes? Fraser didn't do the ordering, though it might have been a place he's already ordered from in Chinese. I expect there is more than two, but I only need to define two.
The second is more open ended. Miss Fraser has a rather, severe, hairstyle, which might not be the most flattering. What would be more flattering? Let's accept Fraser has a thing about being a redhead and long hair does reinforce the distinction between him as Mountie and her as human being.
And, that does seem to be what the exercise seems to be about, because Benton frequently is not treated as a person. He's the overly dedicated Mountie that drops off caribou for autopsy and catches depth charging fish thieves, the son of a legend. In Chicago he's beef to the women, and even his friend Ray keeps seeing him in very Dudley Dooright terms. As Miss Fraser he can small talk with Elaine about Sears, Welsh is a gentleman, and the bullpen regards. Only the superficial clique need to slot Miss Fraser into 'Canadian', to explain the robust health and frame of the new art teacher. One might see this as Miss Fraser being, well, she is less the ideal female form than our Constable Fraser is of the male. She's much more confident than Fraser usually is when he's not jumping off things, and doesn't babble as much.
anyway, thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Personally I thought Fraser looked prettiest with the wig off, when he was changing in the back seat but still made up. A pixie cut short and off his forehead would be adorable. The bangs are a good disguise, though.

well, yes, he could work velvet cut (a buzz that's long enough to pet) but it'd make for more difficult Victor Victoria "are people Blind?! wouldn't a faux king Annie Lennox menswear femme be adorable? (that's so much bending...)
