Backing up LJ due South comms to DW

sage and I have been working on importing dS (and C6D) comms on LJ to Dreamwidth, so that we have backups if LJ decides to act up. We really don't want to lose all that fannish history! The following comms are now imported:

Maybe I could if I knew the actual process involved....

This is how you do it:

1) Be the owner or maintainer of a comm on LJ. If you aren't, ask an owner or maintainer to make you maintainer (or ask them to do the import).

2) Create a comm on DW with the same name.

3) Go to import content on DW. In the "work as" field, you choose the comm you just created. Click "start another import". On the next page, click "Livejournal", then enter the LJ comm name, your LJ name and your LJ password. On the next page, click all the fields of things to import (except the very last one which doesn't look relevant).

And then you're done!
