Continuity: I know, but still

I'm a little confused about the absence of weather except when it's there. (Note, this is due South) Three episodes between Good for the Soul set at Christmas and Call of the Wild, which is cold enough for ice fishing in Chicago.

Thoughts? Likewise, is there any intimation of what time of year Benton's mad pursuit of a serious 'litterer'?

The trees look like full summer when Benton and Dief are up north chasing the litterer, but then they come back down to Chicago, and the trees are still bare, as though it's very early spring. Even during "Eclipse" people seem to be dressed for cool weather, and it looks more like spring than summer. It's confusing. :P

Y'know, I think you might be right. Your icon reminds me that during "I Coulda Been a Defendant" the Chicago landscape still doesn't look all that summery. I wonder if when they were filming the chase scenes they still didn't know whether David Marciano was coming back, or if not, whether Callum was going to agree to step in? So starting any filming at all at that point was kind of a Hail Mary? *ponders*
