(I don't really know where to post this fic, I hope it's good to be here. :))
This is my second fic written in English (the first one is from 2008 :D), also I haven't written anything in any language for about five years now, so I hope this story will be understandable - or even a bit enjoyable, too. :) If you find any grammar mistakes or wrong spelling, etc., feel free to tell me.

The publishers of the award-winning dS F/K "Body Heat" zine anthologies are now seeking story submissions for "Body Heat, Volume 7". Deadline for first submission is September 1st, 2018.

Volume 7 will go to print when page-count is reached, so "first submitted, first published" and later submissions will go to "Volume 8".

So um, hi everyone, have my first Due South fanart of a depressed Fraser (sorry but that's where I am in the canon right now...). I've only watched season 1, but will start on season 2 soon!

I just wanted to post to note that I am still working on the fourth and probably final chapter of Thin Ice. Between some work stuff and a family member who has been in the ICU for the past two weeks, I haven't been in the best frame of mind to write or, more to the point, I probably related a bit too much to Ray's anxiety at the moment, which makes moving forward more than a little difficult emotionally. I am, however doing that just that, even if it's at a snail's speed. Nor can I really give a good idea when I'll be posting. I'm probably about halfway done with the last chapter now but I can't tell if I'll take another 1-2 weeks to finish or if I'll hit a stride and finish the rest in a day. Either way, I had the story mapped out before I started posting and everything going exactly as it should, just slower.

I thought this was going to be a three chapter story, but apparently I was wrong. I didn't write as much as anticipated, partly because my grandfather's in the ICU now. But I had enough a scene went a little longer than anticipated and so I figured it worked as a chapter on its own. Next chapter will likely be late next week, depending on how my grandfather is doing.
